I have been LOVING conducting the Muswell Hill Popchoir this past few weeks!
Popchoir founder Helen contacted me at the start of June to ask if I could lead the choir until the end of term. Luckily I was able to park my usual Wednesday night commitment, to step into the role of Muswell Hill Popchoir’s trainer. It has been such fun. Helen’s arrangements and the amazing backing tracks sound super-cool, and it feels great to be making music in this way.
Right – time to check out a few more of the arrangements before tonight’s rehearsal. The choir has a big gig on Saturday 27 July at The Scoop, London, so there’s plenty of repertoire to sing through and polish up!
